Wiring method for the 3C fire damper

Covers the wiring and actuator details for the 3C fire damper, smoke valve and smoke fire damper: actions, current, torque and cycle life, with the wiring notes that matter for installers.

Wiring of fire dampers, smoke valves and smoke fire dampers

1. Name: fire damper. Actuator: DL-I close-range regulating actuator.

Function: fitted on the fire damper, normally open.

1. Manual reset.

2. Manual close, electric-signal close, thermal-link close.

3. Five fan-speed steps for airflow.

4. Operating current ≤ 0.7 A.

5. Torque: 9.5 N·m.

6. Product in use matches the type-tested product.

7. 250 reliable open/close cycles (national standard: 50).

2. Smoke fire damper. Actuator: DL-Ⅵ-3 two-action actuator.

Function: fitted on the smoke fire damper, normally closed, thermal link at 280°C.

1. Manual reset.

2. Manual open, electric-signal open.

3. Thermal link closes it again.

4. Operating current ≤ 0.7 A.

5. Torque: 9.5 N·m.

6. Product in use matches the type-tested product.

7. 250 reliable open/close cycles (national standard: 50).

3. Smoke valve. Actuator: DL-Ⅱ close-range, non-adjusting.

Function: fitted on the smoke outlet or supply outlet, normally closed.

1. Manual reset.

2. Manual open, electric-signal open, thermal-link open.

3. Operating current ≤ 0.7 A.

4. Torque: 9.5 N·m.

5. Product in use matches the type-tested product.

6. 250 reliable open/close cycles (national standard: 50).
